Moving to Japan

Hello everyone I'm moving to Japan this month. This will be my last post until I get internet set up in Japan. Things are very crazy right now. I move out of my house tomorrow. Not looking forward to living out of a suitcase for awhile.

Sorry since I have been sick and haven't felt like doing a wallpaper, so there won't be one for November.
Thanks for the get well wishes, Adrienne I hope you feel better too.Finally dragged my butt to the ER. They are treating my for pneumonia. Go figure. I feel better but am exhausted due to lack of sleep. Still coughing up a lung though. Anyway, I need to catch up on my sleep so I can get better, so I will be MIA until I am.Oh and thanks for all the great comments on my portion of Gingerbread Christmas. Makes me happy

Okay, I'm back, my heads still spinning from these past several days. Last week my DD dislocated her toe. We thought she had broke it at first due to it sticking up, so we headed to the emergency room. After hours of waiting, x-rays showed it was only dislocated. Funny thing is the doctor after straightening out her toe said we should have taken pictures. LOL! I was so worried about it being broke that my camera was the last thing on my mind. Oh well! Busy, Busy, Busy...

Well, I've been soo busy that I kept forgetting to again put up this month's wallpaper. Tried last night but the power kept shutting off.

After the second time I just didn't bother trying after that and took my butt to bed. I've been soo busy trying to get my house uncluttered, do my spring cleaning, get my back garden looking good. On top of that I've got in-laws coming in a week and still have tons of stuff to do. DH finally painted the hallway for me. Looks so much better, now I just need the doors painted.

Well I've caught my DD cold and now its reeking havoc on me. My chest, ribs and throat are sore from constantly coughing. My medicine and cough drops are only working to a certain point. Made this shamrock pin for DD to wear for St. Paddy's Day. Of course she was annoyed with me for making her take a picture when all she wanted to do was bolt out the house to catch the bus for school. I made it using felt scraps/ribbons/gold mesh, a button and a green safety pin.

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! Just a quick update on my store. I was lucky enough to get a back up of the database I accidentally deleted. Unfortunately it is from further back than I had hoped. But something is better than nothing.

Unfortunately that means that those that have placed orders from this point up to the mishap will not be in my database. I think I can manually add customers via some module, but I'm not totally sure, I'll have to look into that a little later.

So right now I am in the process of re-entering the products that are no longer there, this is tedious and a pain. I need to remember to backup my stuff more often. =sigh=

Unbelievable!

I can't believe I accidentally deleted my MYSQL Database. I am speechless. My DH has called twice to have then put it back, from their back up. No Luck! They've tried twice. I give it until tomarrow then I'm going to have to start again from scratch. I so want to cry. I put alot of work into my store.

So I have a blog train to scheduled to post @ midnight for you all. After that I'll be MIA until I can fix my shop.

Procrastination.... I don't know about you all but lately I 'm finding that I procrastinating a lot. MY DDs wanted some Valentine cards that are not babyish but still cute. So I told them I'd whip something up for them both. Well, I finally got around to doing it last night. I ended up staying up to the wee hours of the morning to get the cards done for them. I am sooo glad I got them done. Anyway they are available for free (until Saturday night) in my shop. Here's a preview:

Freebie {PinkuPixie - February Wallpaper}

My DD made some "Fairy Cakes" for the whole family. I'm so proud of her she did it mostly by herself with adult supervision. She's 10. She had to double up the recipe, it was for 12 mini cupcake. I only had liners for regular size cupcakes. I'll have to pick up some of the mini liners and sprinkles so that she'll have everything that she needs. I need to teach her how to mix colors and to make a better icing, like a buttercream. Think we'll do that with some sugar cookies. I want to scrap these pics with the recipe she used in a layout.

Anyway here's February's desktop wallpaper. I would of had it up sooner but forgot.

Brrrrr ...its cold

Well we got some snow today (and yesterday), my girls are home due to a "snow day".

Boy are they happy. This is what we woke up to.

They waited a couple hours until it eased up and made their snowman

LOL! it looks like they used up most of the snow in the back garden. They used 1 & 2p coins, for the face and stuff. I wish I could take them someplace where the snow at least comes up to theirs knees. I think they'd really enjoy it.

Now I have a question for those of you who get their layouts printed out by some company. I'm looking for a company to print out my layouts that offer a good price and quality prints. If you have a moment please leave me some suggestions. Thanks in advance. I did manage to order a sample from Scrapbooks to Share. They turned out great, you can barely tell which is glossy and which is matte. I prefer the matte and DH likes the glossy.

Freebie { December Desktop Wallpaper}

Well, today's we did a purge on my the upstairs portion of my house. Whew! Boy was that alot of work. DH bought 39 gallon trash bags and we filled all ten of them and then some. ! But I'm glad that we finally did it. Our closet can now close all the way and no more clothes falling on the floor every time we grab something. WooHoo!

I decided to post this today since tomarrow is a double whopper freebie. I stepped outside of my comfort zone and tried something different for this month's wallpaper, something very Christmasy (if that's even a word). I hope you like it.

Well my DD got a big surprise on Friday. We celebrated her 15th birthday and she wasn't really expecting much. We had her thinking that her Birthday present was going to the movies with her BF (w/o her little sisters). =Password for freebie is freepqcard04 = While she and her BF were @ the movies, we wrapped her gifts and got her cake ready.....Wow! I can't believe she's 15 already. G-pa bought her an iPod and we got her a portable audio system plus some accessories and an iTunes card to download music on to her iPod.

Hello All! Been a busy little bee...

Hi everyone, well I know I've been MIA. I had a hectic last week. My girls finished school yesterday and are out for the summer. Yippee! But I'm still 2 weeks behind in my lessons, sigh! I need to stop procrastinating and get my stuff done. My birthday was on the 21st and my 11th Anniversary was on the 19th. Yep! they're back to back. DH got my a network hard drive, 1TB, for my birthday/anniversary :o), just what I wanted. And to top it off he made me some Lemon cupcakes with Citrus Icing that are allowed on my diet. See below. Boy did I enjoy that cupcake alot.

Anyway moving along.... on my birthday my DD came home early due to her asthma acting up. We picked her up then stopped by the store, guess what. This lady scraped our car. Funny thing is the lady's car was still parked next to ours. We didn't know at first it was her car that damaged our, but while in the process of calling the police, we noticed on her rear right bumper was paint transfer from our car. I guess she didn't know she did it. Anyway, police came , we started filling out a report, while we were doing that, the police went into the store to find the lady that owned the vehicle that damaged ours. Guess what happened next. I turn around and the lady is driving off in her car. The police had to chase her down by foot. Can you believe it. And yet, my DH apologized for this whole mess taking too long (we filled out the report twice, they wanted more detail). I thought he lost his mind when he did that. See pic below. Its not a good one cause the sun was out. Its like 13" in length and 3.5" in height. I'm curious how much this will cost to be fixed...hhhmmm

Hello everyone! Well DH and I took the girls to the Imperial War Museum in Duxford on the fourth of July. We saw lots of planes, tanks, other WWII vehicles and various WWII memorabilia. There was alot to see. We even saw a B-17 actually flying in the sky (the top 3 pictures below). After seeing this my DH wants to go back later and book a ride in the Tiger Moth, Dragon Rapide or Warbird. (the password for today's mystery freebie is 70864Bp1@!nL ) I think he should do the Tiger Moth since the also let you take the controls. I think I know what to get DH for next year's Annivesary. ;o)

Here's this July's wallpaper. Unfortunately I won't be online @ all tomorrow due to the scheduled power outage, which is going to suck, the powers out from 8:30 am to 5 pm. So I went ahead and scheduled this to launch. If for some reason I messed it up, then I'll repost it on July 3rd unless the power is still out (hope not) So I am rushing to get this posted and scheduled before I go to bed tonight (Jul 1st). I've included the instructions I usually post, in each zip file. Oh and since I am pressed for time, I have zipped all 3 wallpaper sizes into one file. Thanks everyone, I got an overwhelming response for testers and now have enough. I've emailed everyone those who got spots and those who did not...I hated emailing those who did not. ugh! anyway thanks again.

Some of you are having difficulty with the password still. The flip flops have already been downloaded 249 times. Wow! Send me an email if you need help with the password. Well, its been a busy week. My DD got her new glasses. She was so excited. Oh and yesterday I got a letter in the mail from our new electric company (mind you I almost dumped it in the trash), didn't know we were getting a new service provider. Apparently the switch over is to take place on July 2nd from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. What the heck am I suppose to do all day with no electricity???? My kids are still in school so they be gone all day 'til around 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm. But they actually sat there and complained when I told them. LOL! (password for the freebie is te!YKRuTrj9S )I told 'em if they can't find something to do for about an hour or less then they've got some serious problems. I think I'm going to have to ask DH out to lunch that day. I'll probably have him grab dinner as well. Moving on, I started school again, yah! I'm learning alot. My oldest DD drew this design for Father's Day. I ordered a tee for DH from the kids. She also drew one for the grandpas

Moving on, I tried my hand @ making an action. I think it turned out pretty well. See preview below. I'm also giving the end results away as a freebie. But what I need are some testers. If you'd like to test this action out for me, send me an email and be sure to put "Tester" in the subject line. Otherwise I might delete it thinking its spam. I need testers using various versions of Photoshop. Thanks in advance.

frogs....

We had some sun this pass weekend, yah!, and it is sunny today. Actually got a load out on the line to dry. I'm hoping it'lll stay like this all day. we got a visit from a frog on Sunday. DH was BBQing and my kitty spotted the frog and proceeded to hunt it. The frog also made the weirdest sound every time my kitty came near it.

My kitty played with that frog forever. Finally it went into the neighbors garden only to run into another cat over there. I also forgot to post the cards my DD and i made over the break. I made one for my DH co-worker, who was having a baby. They have had the baby, a girl! Congrats to them. My DD made her card for her cousin's upcoming B-day. She even drew her own stitching around the card's edges. I need to get my other 2 to make their cards as well. Anyway here are the cards we made:

Update on my kitty

Well, we did get my kitty to the vet and boy did she have a fever, it @ 104 when the vet took it. On top of that she also had a respiratory infection. They gave her a shot and we had to administer antibiotics for about a week. She all better now. :o)

My girl have been on break this past week. So I've been pretty busy keeping them busy. I'll post the cards my youngest and I made.
