Freebie {PixieQuickie Brag Book - Christmas #5}

OMG! My daughter came home last night saying she needed a costume for the christmas play by today. I've been asking her about it all week. I ended up rushing to the store, purchasing a twin sheet set and using that to make her costume. LOL! I didn't get a chance to get a pic, but will come back and add one later tonite. 4 more days of school left and my kiddos are out of school until January. Yah!

Okay, I'm back and here are a couple of pics from the play:



Not bad for a villager, the head piece is actually my DH white T-shirt with a strip of trim tied around it. Same trim was used for a belt. And the down was made from a twin bed sheet. What do you think?

Winter Blues.....

Winter Blues - Well this morning was dreadfully cold. I didn’t want to get out of my warm cozy bed. Uk weather can be so depressing. You’d think after being here 5 years I’d be more use to it. It rained here the last few days (down south) making it all dark gloomy and cold. I sooo wish I could go on vacation somewhere like Key West or even Orlando. Actually Orlando would be great. I’ve got a friend that lives near there. It would be nice to visit her for awhile and do some sightseeing stuff. Like the tours listed at Trusted Tours and Attractions. My girls would love to go to the Cypress Gardens Adventure Park and the Kennedy Space Center. But I think I’d like to do the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament and a Hot Air Balloon Ride with just me & DH. Sigh! Why PayPerPost?

Well, I signed up for PPP awhile back after seeing it on other fellow bloggers blogs and of course I put off posting about it, just got too busy and then completely forgot. Bad me. So I decided to do it today after seeing that Pillowgirl had joined as well. What is PPP? PPP stands for payperpost. I love the fact that you can earn a little moolah just by posting. How cool is that! Of course there are some rules. Since I already post book reviews here and there, I figured I could give PPP a try. What am I hoping to get out of it? Well just a little pocket money for me to spend on more digital scrapooking tools. I just can't get enough, yes I'm addicted and spend way too much (according to my hubbie). If this works out then I will be able to make more freebies and some more kits for sale. Anyway, signing up was easy to do. They have lots of opportunities available. They don't send excessive amounts of email either. If you have a blog that you post regulary on, then this is a great opportunity for you to try too.
